VeriFactu is the new system introduced by the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) to ensure that invoicing software records and, where applicable, automatically sends invoices to the tax authorities in a complete, traceable and tamper-proof manner.
This integration only applies to customers with a tax residence in Spain who use Kydemy as their invoicing system.
It’s very simple: when the regulations come into force, your invoicing software will need to comply with the new requirements.
And there’s good news: the deadlines have been extended, so you now have more time to prepare and choose the solution that best suits your business.
In fact, during the period before the regulations come into force, you can stop using a VeriFactu system that you’re testing and switch to another invoicing system until the adaptation deadline.
In other words, if you’re currently trying out a solution and it’s not quite right for you, you still have time to switch software 🫵.
